Intense Pulse Light (IPL) Therapy is performed to treat a variety of skin concerns including; pigment, vascular, acne, sun damage and ageing skin. IPL therapy works by transfers light energy into heat to damage target cells using different wavelengths to target different skin concerns. IPL is performed with a hand piece that is placed on the treatment area and activated, creating a hot snap sensation. Most people will need 3-6 sessions to permanently remove or reduce the appearance of their concern depending on the severity of the concern.
