Milia extraction can be performed to gently remove milia (closed comedones) underneath the skin with the use of a sharp tool and gentile manipulation to 'pop out' the milia with minimal trauma to the surrounding structures.
Milia removal creates a smoother texture and appearance of the skin and reduces the skin bubble/bumpy appearance.
